Recital 2014

This year the recital was: "Down the Yellow Brick Road" (ballet portion) and "One Hit Wonders" (tap, jazz, modern, hip hop portion). 

Elise was Glinda the good witch in "Down the Yellow Brick Road".

 Elise got to dance on pointe when she danced with the "snow". She was the only soloist who got to dance on pointe at all as a soloist. 

Elise's best friend, Liz was the Wicked Witch. They had fun when they were onstage together! (Only once and again during bows, which they got to take together.)

Elise was busy during "One Hit Wonders" dancing in tap, jazz, modern and hip hop dances.

 The tap dance was to "Big Black Horse and a Cherry Tree". 

 Elise was next to her friend, Liz, for much of the Jazz dance. This was danced to, "Somebody That I used to know". 

Modern was danced to, "Bad Day"

For Hip-Hop they dressed as mimes and danced to "We Speak No Americano".
