Bible 2014-2015

I'm starting to get really excited about the bible study the kids will be working on this year. It consists of several books, with the goal being to get the student to be responsible and to take ownership for studying the bible, giving them some tools to help with this. I haven't read any of the various books in their entirety, but have read parts and or skimmed enough to feel good about it.
They will start the year with "The BBC Manual", in which they will get some tools for completing in depth bible studies. This book will be used 3 days a week. We'll be reading from "But Don't All Religions Lead to God?" once a week, delving into the title question. As the year progresses, and we complete one book we'll add in another. Moving on to "How To Stay Christian in High School", which is probably a little more timely for Elise as she has only one more year until she reaches that point. I'm excited for them to read "Live Like a Jesus Freak" by dc Talk, since we hear so much music by two of the men who were part of that group. We'll end the year with "Daring to Live on the Edge".
