The Tutu Diaries: Part 4

I worked up quite a sweat today, slaving over the juliette skirt. ;) All the layers of tulle are attached to the basque now! I have a little tweaking to do to the waistband to get the fit perfect, then serge the lining to the fancy fabric below the ruffles and add hook and eyes. I have some hand sewing to do, connecting ruffles in the back (so they connect and there isn't a hole). After that it's all about adding embellishments. I expect to have to shorten the skirt a couple of inches, but won't know for sure until after the director sees it on Elise.
